Mango Lassi

I had a dinner party and made Indian food.  This was dessert, along with some chocolate dipped strawberries and macaroons.  The mango lassi was quite refreshing and not too heavy.  Really you could use any fruit that is a favorite of yours for this drink.

Prep time:  15 minutes

Serves:  4


2 fresh mangoes-peeled, with the fruit cut into large chunks

4 cups plain yogurt

1 cup cold water

1/4 cup agave syrup or use about 1/3 cup sugar instead-you may want it a little sweeter, if so just add more sweetener.


1.  Put everything together in a blender and blend until you have a nice smooth mixture. Taste and make sure it’s to your liking.

2.  Serve with a mint garnish if you like.
