Sangria is so easy to make and can be made with just about any favorite fruit.  I’ve made this one with orange and pineapple, but peaches, grapefruit, limes and lemons would also work with this white wine sangria.  After you have mixed the ingredients together, let sit for at least 2 hours for the flavors to marry and then serve with ice and club soda.  The club soda will lighten it up and cut the sweetness, it’s a must.

Prep time:  15 minutes

Yield:  about 8 cups and serves 8-10

1- 750 ml bottle of your favorite dry white wine

1/2 cup vodka

1/3 cup peach schnapps

3/4 cup pineapple juice

1/2 cup agave syrup

1 small navel orange quartered lengthwise and thinly sliced

1 cup bite size pieces fresh pineapple

Club soda

1.  In a 2 1/2 – 3 quart pitcher, stir the wine, vodka, peach schnapps, pineapple juice and agave syrup until well mixed.

2.  Add the fruit and then refrigerate for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours.

3.  Serve over ice, garnished with the fruit.  Top off each glass with a splash of club soda.
